The Estate Company acts to maintain and improve standards for the communal areas of the estate. This includes the gardens, roadways, sewage and rainwater, gates and the general obligations of residents on the estate. The Estate Company appoints a management company to collect the annual service charge and to carry out the work in relation to these duties.

At present, the management company is Bartholomews of Kingston. The Estate Company controls the finances, sets budgets and monitors the performance of all sub-contractors. It is important to remember that issues with particular houses, apartments and gardens and personal security are still the responsibility of the resident and should be dealt with in accordance with the specific contracts and warranties.

The Estate Company is distinct from the Residents Company. The Residents Company is responsible for maintaining the communal areas of the apartment buildings and any queries with regard to the apartment buildings should be directed to their agents, who currently are also Bartholomews
