Legal rights and obligations are set down in the freehold transfers of the houses and the leases of the flats which contain detailed covenants about which your solicitor should have advised you when you bought the property.

There are additional regulations which are added from time to time to take into account communal living. These will be added to this section and the handbook as appropriate.
